The Illyrians (Ancient Greek: Ἰλλυριοί, Illyrioi; Latin: Illyrii) were a group of Indo-European-speaking people who inhabited the western Balkan Peninsula in ancient times. They constituted one of the three main Paleo-Balkan populations, along with the Thracians and Greeks.(Wikipedia)
Alexander was followed in Asia by 7000 Odryssians, Trivallians and Illyrians who were almost all peltasts like the figures I present.
They can also be used in the Pyrrhic army, the early successor armies and the Antigonid (Later Macedonian) army.
For the symbols on the shields I used the Illyrian circles, the Macedonian sun as it has been formulated as a symbol of common cultural heritage, as well as symbols of both Greek and Italian style.
Figures are from the Hat Set 8044 Alexander's Light Infantry and have undergone various transformations.
The shields are from the Xyston 15mm miniatures.

Ja, mit Sand aus dem Meer und Steinen unterschiedlicher Größe. Alles geklebt und in drei Schichten lackiert.

Bases sehen cool aus,die Figuren natürlich auch👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Those are very good too :) I have often considered making stripes down the center, or side of a figure, but not really dared, because it might not look like I thought it would...

It is relatively easy and shows the figure more beautiful.
After the second post I made I didn't see any of your comments and I was worried that you hadn't seen the figures.

BTW: Some of those hand painted shields are really impressive. The snake is good, and the patterns are very precise.
