Ah well thank you, I look forward to what you produce, though sad as it may be to see some of it stalled. Ancient artillery sets are scarce. Lots of surprises coming up soon though! Not only the Egyptian Surprise, but we have also seen very little of the Persian Cavalry, and wonder when we will get to see some more of that set. Thank you. It is nice to see the process.
Vielen Dank. Es ist schön, den Prozess zu sehen.
How is the progress with this set? has there been any though to making the ropes look more twisted? or would it have been such straight bands? thank you Wie ist der Fortschritt mit diesem Set? Gab es irgendetwas, um die Seile verdrehter aussehen zu lassen? Oder wären es so geradlinige Bands gewesen? Vielen Dank
I hope and trust all is well, I am wondering about the Persian cavalry set. It says its in stage 7 but keeping so much a secret? will there be a chariot? thank you. Looking forward to these bits or art to get to the USA
These poses and characters look good and expressive. Will be happy to add to my collection for sure. You guys are doing some real beautiful work in the ancient world and that is much appreciated to see a set like this. Now just hope you also do some civilian ancient sets to go with them.

Here we are! the completed Imperial Roman Emperors Guard.
A companion ship to the Emperors Trireme set to guard its flanks.
These are the elite hardened, battle tested professional soldiers tasked with the most important duties as a companion ship to the Emperors Trireme to guard its flanks. They are swift, fierce and mean business, they do not mess around with the safety of long ranged missile attacks, they just get in there ram and board your ship and your in real trouble then. With good resistance to light projectiles from their large shields and heavy armor they are small in number but not to by under estimated.
Ship: is a Roman Warship made by Imai, Academy, Minicraft. Again a corvus was added as well as a widened top deck, and a little modification to the ram.
Minis used: Zvezda Imperial Roman troops, Orion Roman Siege troops, 1 Stretlets Roman senator.
Das Zvezda-Set ist wirklich schön, und ich habe die Orion-Set bestellt! aber wie gesagt, Linear A weiß wirklich, wie man die Lücken füllt und dem Genre die Krone aufsetzt
The Zvezda set is really nice, and I have on order the Orion ones! but as said Linear A really knows how to fill the gaps and put the crown on the genre
yes! I forgot to mention the corvus is not part of the model however I used the middle seat piece to make most of it. Since you cant really see into the model to make it worth including. I just cut the seats off with a knife, then glued them to the side of the middle plank. I had to use some evergreen plastic to make the hinge (simply a pipe with a pin) and used a spare mast from the bow tower trireme I posted but it could have come from parts carved off the parts tree from the molding process.

A Roman Bireme warship with a crew of lighter armored troops for a fast and valiant boarding party that strikes hard but is weaker to heavy troops and large ballistics.
Minis used: HAT Republican Romans Hastati & Velites, Orion Roman sailors (for a steersman) HAT Roman Missile troops (for the other steersman and leader), Stretlets Roman senator, Italeri Late Imperial Legion (for the archers) and Zvezda Roman Auxilliary (slinger)
Model: Academy/ Imai/ Minicraft Roman warship..... if you have a choice the Minicraft injections are the best, very thing and precise molding from them, but all of them make fine models.

Model: Zvezda Greek Trireme kit bashed from many parts from other kits
Minis used: HAT Greek Catapult workers, HAT Alexanders Light infantry, Hat Macedonian Hypaspists, Stretlets Roman senators. HAT roman catapult (may not stay with this model) Mangonel is sourced from some board game that I am not sure which.
A game piece
A robust, maneuverable, ship with average speed for its size, it's main tactics are a devastating copper reinforced bow ram that can split smaller ships in half or get lodged into larger ones allowing its forward bow tower and archers the advantage in the high ground to rain down arrows. Its tall side walls gives some protection against boarding and to its slingers and small mangonel giving a relentless barrage towards any that try. Its weaknesses are that its units are not well armored and does not have many melee troops to fend off strong boarding parties. Has crew of 24/25 (I will likely use the scorpion in another ship)
Hello, this is my first post and am looking forward to this set, sort of a teaser! I do hope it has a small crew to go with it, good crew are so hard to find and really complete the set. (especially to match the rest of my Linear-A collection)
One thing I notices and maybe I am incorrect here but the ropes to cause the tension look like they have not been twisted to give the proper tension, since the ropes are all aligned vertically. This would not prevent me from ordering this however.
p.s. is there a function to translate this forum? Thank you, and thank you for producing some of my favorite ancient 1/72 sets!
