I don't know about that. I had some figures from a spanish company, that I will not name, because I forgot the name, that had figures with so much flash on them, and that melted in hot water.. that I still have them in their original boxes, and probably will continue to have so indefinitly.
Man kann die ja noch selbst verbessern / nachbessern. Wenn die Recherche und die Figuren historisch akurat sind, dann kann man daraus mit Bemalen Bebasteln sehr gutes machen. Beispielsweise haben die Inder von HÄT einen schlechten Ruf - ich finde die sehr okay. MARS Xerxes Army Set ist doch gut. Die Schilde sind da ein wenig zu dick und werden eben durch andere bessere ersetzt. Dann ist das Set gut. Flash schneide ich einfach weg. Das schaffe ich auch noch selbst.
I agree. There is a lot of work that can be done by the buyer of the figures. Flash can be removed, you can convert, you can fix stuff with paint, like adding a greave or two. However it is nicer, and to be preferred not to need to do those things. I have never been good at removing flash, and that too me means that some sets are simply not good for me. MARS has a strange track record. Some sets are very good, especially recently, but others are pretty poor when it comes to sculpting. I like the Indians too btw. I still have hope for these sets.
Hallo,ich schließ mich den Skeptiker an,habe nur 2 Figurensätze,Östereich Ulanen (Napoleonisch) und British Infanterie(Napoleonisch), der eine war noch bei Revell geklaut, doll waren sie nicht und sehr unsauber
